If there is still some soft dough that has made its way deep into the carpet take some white play dough and tap and dab a bit so that the white dough will attack itself to the soft dough deep inside the carpet. Soft solution pick up large or loose pieces of play doh from the carpet by hand. Pour a small amount of rubbing alcohol onto a clean paper towel and blot the playdough stain gently to loosen any remaining residue. This will soften the play dough making it a lot easier to remove.

Simply pick up with hands the soft large pieces of the dough. Brush the play dough off the carpet with a stiff brush to remove any small bits of play dough stuck to the carpet. If the remaining parts trapped in the carpet is still soft flick at it with a ball of pliable white fragments so it leaves no color behind.
